Endorfin has been sitting for too long in our boatyard.
It is time for her to go back to the water.
She arrived here in Aruba in Dec. 2014, had her engines lubricated and flushed with fresh water, then her owners left for far away.
She is offered at only $299k for a boat usually marketed at $459K.
As mentioned above she is exceptionally strong and light at the same time.
A unique opportunity to own a well built, very fast, large, catamaran.
The Lagoon 55s, "s" for Sport was one of the earliest designs of the famous naval architects duo VPLP. What was to become the largest catamarans' s builder was still mostly a team of racers creating the Fleury Michon sail around the world prototypes. To keep the team together they started designing the very first catamarans as we know them today with speed in mind
The lagoon 55s was probably the best looking design by VPLP!
Looks fast even at anchor. These have always been head-turners.
About 20 of the Lagoon 55's were built. All were composite (cored sandwich) construction, for lightness and strength. The Lagoon 55 is 55 ft LOA, has a waterline length of 50 ft and a beam of 30 ft. The displacement is 28,600 lbs, which for a 55 ft cat is light! It also has a relatively shallow draft of 4.0 ft. The Lagoon 55s were designed with four private cabins and heads and two spaces forward which can be crew quarters or gear storage cabins, (accessible via deck hatches)
The interior does not offer the same volume as recent 55' cats but she is still roomy enough for a fraction of the price. While going so much faster.
So cool looking and fast!
Like a big spider on the water.
